Got down to copying the draft onto the actual card. I should be delivering this soon. I do not want to gift this journal as the actual work, but rather as the mini mock up version of the actual thing because I have not learnt how to create end bands yet. I can't gift something incomplete right?
I am extremely stimulated after being close to a collection of paper swatches, so close I was able to stoke them tenderly today, heaving sighs with moments of 'woooowwws' after feeling a new texture like that of the TOUCHÉ® paper (described as a 'soft, matte finish provides a look of understated elegance and sophistication while the rose petal softness of its surface begs to be touched..'). Sometimes it's the simplest things that lift the spirits of my very shitty day, and somehow, looking at any art material, and learning more about them does just that. What's more, the sales rep from RJ paper left me a box of their most treasured swatches! Thank you so much for the warm service, and the patience to introduce me to new papers. It has expanded my knowledge this wonderful world and brightened my life. Stroking each and every swatch, unable to put them down... Also, chanced upon this after making further research (click on the picture below)
It's now on!
Thank you POPIN for having Hausu as part of this cityscape. |
