Here's a glimpse of what I'll be showing at the One more folded sunset exhibition, which will open on the evening of 17 September 2019. I'm almost done with stitching... feel like I could add more but it has to stop at some point!

Travelogic is scheduled to show at One more folded sunset : The Winston Oh Travelogue Award's 20th Anniversary Exhibition at the Brother Joseph McNally Gallery at the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, located in LASALLE College of the Arts.
Here's some work in progress after screen printing - embroidering!
Cutting paper stencils and printing away! Here's how it's done with an old card, instead of a squeegee. Got down to creating the prototype of the double concertina book with the marbled Colorplan Vellum White paper. In order to see quick results, rubber bands were used to secure the folds instead of stitching. It looks promising, and I feel more confident about how this will turn out after being able to play around with it.
Stretching every marbled sheet created so far. These are suminagashi pieces made with the Boko-Undo marbling kit on Colorplan Mist papers.
Here's revealing the not so glam part of my process - waiting till everyone heads home after work to make use of the industrial building's public toilet so that the fibreglass table turned upside down will fit my work. After many attemps, I think I've managed to pull it off! Here's a successful marbled sunset.
